- Target Audience: Youth children of ACCC congregation members, as well as youth participating in ACCC Sunday School (Grades 7–12), approx. 30–40 students.

Spiritual Characteristics
- Grounded Teacher of Faith: A firm believer capable of communicating and passing on the Christian faith to youth.
- Caring Guide: A leader who genuinely cares for youth, carries a burden for their growth, and guides them to know Christ and stand firm in their faith.
- Engaging Team Leader: An energetic initiator who organizes youth to participate in ministry, gatherings, and events both inside and outside the church, enhancing connection among youth to grow together in Christ.
- Team Player: Collaborates effectively with various church ministries and leads youth in serving the church.
Ministry Responsibilities & Scope
- Spiritual Teaching: Youth Sunday School, mid-week gatherings, and one-on-one mentorship.
- Leading Gatherings: Organize and lead youth meetings and special events, including retreats, short-term mission trips, graduation nights, etc.
- Pastoral Care: Build personal relationships with youth and regularly care for their physical, mental, and spiritual growth.
- Youth Discipleship: Cultivate the next generation of spiritual leaders among the youth.
- Parent Communication: Establish effective communication channels with parents to share and update them on their children’s spiritual status in a timely manner.
- Church Ministry: As a member of the ACCC pastoral team, regularly participate in staff meetings and major church-wide events.
- Ministry Outreach: Connecting with other churches and ministries.
Qualifications & Personal Attributes
- A growing, intimate personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Understanding of the unique challenges faced by second-generation Chinese youth, with a proactive approach to building relationships with them.
- Completed theological education or relevant training.
- Prior experience in youth ministry is preferred.
- Familiarity with Chinese culture and the ability to communicate in Chinese is preferred.
Work Relationships
The Youth Minister reports to the Senior Pastor for ministry and spiritual direction. In the absence of the Senior Pastor, the Youth Minister reports to the Pastoral/Elder Board. All serving staff are ultimately accountable to the ACCC Board of Elders and Deacons.
Performance Evaluation
The Youth Minister must submit an annual evaluation to the Senior Pastor prior to the Pastoral/Elder Board meeting each September. Following the review, the Pastoral/Elder Board will submit recommendations to the Personnel Committee. The Personnel Committee will then present annual salary adjustment recommendations to the Board of Elders and Deacons ahead of the annual budget meeting in November.
